Here’s an opportunity to clean the shoreline while Hartwell Lake is down
During the month of February, Keep America Beautiful (KAB) of Anderson County is sponsoring a Hartwell Lake clean up in preparation for the 2008 Bassmaster Classic on February 22-24. Lake clean up volunteers may drop off shoreline debris at any Anderson County Convenience Center. Discarded tires will be accepted at the following Centers:
· King David (New Prospect Echo Circle) -Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
· Townville (Simmons Ford Road) -Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Participants are asked to report their results to KAB. All volunteers are invited to the annual KAB Volunteer Recognition Luncheon on February 25.
