SC Congressman J. Gresham Barrett supports higher lake levels

South Carolina Congressman J. Gresham Barrett supports our need for higher water levels and provides a request to all of us regarding how we can all be part of helping keep water levels higher. We urge each of you to email, call or write to Mary Glackin, the Deputy Under Secretary for NOAA as requested by Congressman Barrett, and express your desire to decrease the flows out of the lakes in the Savannah River Basin. Let her know that flows maintained at 3,100 cubic feet per second rather than 3,600 cfs would mean a gradual increase in lake levels at minimal, if any, risk to environmental concerns.
