LHA Three Phase Water Management Proposal to U. S. Corps of Engineers

The Lake Hartwell Association and the Friends of the Savannah River Basin, have made a 3-phase proposal to Colonel Edward Kertis, of the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, for the future management of water in the Savannah River Basin. This proposal includes (1) the continuation of flow rate deviations, (2) expediting the preparation of a new environmental assessment (EA), and (3) major revisions to the current drought contingency plan.
