This notice is to alert LHA members that there have been several reported thefts of fishing electronics, tackle, and water sports gear. As Memorial Day kicks off the busy Summer season, LHA urges all members to take extra care to protect your property and to keep an eye out for your neighbors and their property as well.

SECURE IT: Keep electronics and tackle locked & out of sight. Secure and lock boats and other watercraft, dock storage units, autos and homes.

RECORD IT: Keep a written and photo record of valuables to help provide an accurate description to law enforcement in the event they're stolen.

REPORT IT: If you discover property has been stolen, alert your county sheriff and insurance company, as well as neighbors, friends, & other boaters.
