Lake Cleanup Campaign is underway and concludes September 26

Army Corps of Engineers and Lake Hartwell Association announce 29th annual Hartwell Lake Cleanup Campaign, August 14 through September 26 which is National Public Lands Day.

If you haven't already started, please consider joining in on the annual Hartwell Lake Cleanup. It will go through September 26, and on that day there will be a cleanup picnic and volunteer appreciation day at Big Oaks Recreation Area. There'll be lots of food, music, and activities for the children. Each participant attending the picnic will receive a free gift as well as be eligible for a variety of door prizes.
