The Lake Hartwell Association was launched in 1990 by concerned property owners to preserve the quality of the lake for future generations. The association has grown to include residents, as well as local businesses and partners. It advocates on behalf of its members in the areas of water policy and quality, lake safety, state and federal regulations, and informs members on current and critical issues and changes in regulations that could impact them. As a 501c3 non-profit, 100% of member contributions go to supporting Lake Hartwell.
